5k of Perpetual Suffering

I ran my training route today. 30 degrees and steady rain. I used my waxed hat for the first time and it was excellent. I applied Otter Wax as a water repellent. There was some water on the bill but it otherwise stayed dry and my head was warm enough

Pace was slow, even for recovery. 12:59. I ran 12 on Sunday, my longest since the Buffalo Creek 1/2 Marathon.

The Brooklyn Half is still weeks away but starting to seem real.
