Isamu Noguchi Table

I added a reproduction of an Isamu Noguchi table to my office.  This is a piece I’d wanted to purchase for years.  It is an icon of mid-20th century furniture.  With an interlocking hardwood base of abstract freeform wood and a heavy glass top, it’s a striking piece that is both substantial and minimalist.

I was able to buy this from!  I calculated that buying the table itself would be less expensive than buying the glass itself and building the base.  Including shipping it was 271.29.  It was delivered by truck to my house in a wooden shipping crate.  I’d read that some of these had cracked, or chipped but mine was perfect.  My son helped me to move it to the office as it was quite heavy.  I think it weighed over 100 pounds.  It assembled in less than 10 minutes and after having it in my office for a day, I’m loving it more and more.
